    Ketamine Treatment Disclaimer

Dr. Eipper is committed to offering innovative treatments to assist with mental health disorders.

It’s important for my patients and website visitors to understand the following key points regarding Ketamine treatments:

Off-Label Use: Ketamine was initially developed and approved as an anesthetic. The use of Ketamine for the treatment of mood disorders and chronic pain is considered an “off-label” use.

This means that while Ketamine is FDA-approved, its use for these specific conditions is not.

This off-label application is a common and legal practice in the medical community, often used for conditions that have limited treatment options.

Individual Results May Vary: As with any medical treatment, individual responses to Ketamine can vary. Some patients may experience significant benefits, while others may not find it as effective. We strive to provide the most effective treatment plans for each individual, but we cannot guarantee specific results.

Not a Standalone Treatment: Ketamine treatment should not be seen as a standalone solution. It is often most effective when used in conjunction with other treatments such as therapy, medication, and lifestyle changes. Dr. Eipper will work with you to determine the most appropriate treatment plan.

Consultation and Supervision: All Ketamine treatments are conducted under strict medical supervision. Prior to beginning treatment, a thorough consultation is conducted to evaluate if Ketamine therapy is an appropriate course of action.

Potential Side Effects: As with any medical treatment, there are potential side effects associated with Ketamine therapy. These will be discussed during your consultation, and Dr. Eipper will monitor for any adverse effects throughout the treatment process.

Continued Research: The field of Ketamine therapy is continually evolving. Dr. Eipper stays abreast of the latest research and developments to ensure our treatments reflect the most current knowledge and practices.

    Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your health care will cost.

Under the law, Health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. This is called a Good Faith Estimate.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for total expected cost of any health care items of services. The Good Faith Estimate shows the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services and equipment.

You may request a Good Faith Estimate in advance of an already scheduled health care service or item, or before scheduling an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate or the dispute process, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1.800.985.3059.
